Books & Bites (Evening Book Group)

Have a taste for a really good book or like to sink your teeth into and lose yourself in a juicy novel? Join us the 2nd Tuesday night of each month at 6:30 pm for Books N’ Bites where we will dig into a different book (selected with input from group members) from a variety of genres each month. To spice things up a bit, we will also complement our book talks with beverages and aperitifs fitting to the theme of each book, either at a participant’s home or local eatery.

Borrower’s Boutique

You can borrow items for your grandchildren's visit (i.e. Pac N Play, highchair, stroller, etc.) and also items for rehabilitation (i.e. wheelchair, cane, walker, shower chair, commode, etc.) for visiting elderly or for your own recuperation.

Casual Dining In

Each month from January through April, a host and her guest have a dinner party for total of 8 people. Each month the dinner party is hosted in a different member’s home and is a different group of 8, so you will always be meeting new people. Each member must host once during the season.  The host provides the main course, and the other guests bring side dishes.

Sign up occurs annually in September and October. All members of the group are invited to both the Kickoff Party at the end of October / early November and the End of Year Party in May.  Participation is limited to 24 couples.   You must sign up each year, and you must commit to the entire season.
